PS3 Slim Announced!!!
Today, Sony has announced that they will be releasing a Slim version of the PS3 during the first week of September. The new SKU will feature a 120 GB HDD, Wifi, and Bluray (all the features of current models) and will retail for $299. Current models will be getting pricecuts starting tomorrow August 19.
If you have yet to buy a PS3 there is no better time. At $299 the PS3 is the console offering the greatest value. If you already have a 360 you might want to compliment it with a PS3 slim considering the PS3 is getting a LOT of exclusive titles. I’d suggest that, if you want to buy one, you should think about pre-ordering. From the way things are looking it appears the PS3 slim will be in high demand and you might have a hard time finding one on store shelves. Best of luck to you all.
